Preserving The American Political Philosophy: Whose Been Filtering the #mepolitics Twitter Stream?
As the election draws closer, the Maine political class would very much like to control the talking points in the political debate. Yesterday the live stream on Twitter for #mepolitcs looked like the brotherhood of the Maine government and the Maine media. After tweeting the same thought, independents voices returned and I took screen shots of the live event as documentation.

Preserving The American Political Philosophy
This is a post about the Seed Capital Tax Credit passed unanimously by Maine legislature. It provides that Maine Taxpayers will reimburse up to 60% of private capitalists investments while capitalist keeps all profits. I have found on numerous occasions that tweets referencing this blog post either do not display or vanish from #mepolitics- whereas they display on other hash tags included in the tweet. this does not surprise me since I have a long history of outside tampering with this blog which is a voice out side the Maine political class. This is how politics is done in Maine.

Preserving The American Political Philosophy: Maine Investment Fund Blog Artfully Parses Language to Occlude Role of The Maine Taxpayers.
The Maine Venture Fund (formerly The Small Enterprise Growth Fund) blog artfully parses language to occlude the role of the Maine tax payers as beast of burden and primary risk taker for high growth investors. A classic example of socializing risk and privatising gain.= all for "the public benefit" as so told by the Maine legislature and the Maine media.

Preserving The American Political Philosophy: Lets Be Polite - Election Talking Points Only and No Debate Please !
What happens when one challenges the meaning of a political class during election season (or ever) as I do here over the practical meaning of improving the lives of lower income workers versus the rhetoric about the same.

How is State Capitalism working out in Maine?
Under state capitalism cloaked in the language of quasi's and public-private relationships. the Maine State legislature accommodates the interests of state capitalism and/or it's chosen private beneficiaries by routinely rewriting the laws. When the state liquor contract laws were re-written to accommodate one company while making the incentives system of another bidder illegal, why was Governor Lepage so disappointed that there was only one bidder- the one for which the law was tailor made?
